I read a great article in the August 2013 issue of Allure magazine. It features the late Kenneth Battelle, stylist to Jacqueline Kennedy and Audrey Hepburn, as well as countless other celebrities and socialites. He started the big hair, teasing, roller set trend. He believed that hair could be the accessory rather than hats which had been the accessory and worn every day previously. He was an admired and respected man, in addition to having a vision.
